Jonathan L. Mannina

Jonathan L. Mannina, Esq.

In January 1951, a group of attorneys from the Worcester County Bar Affiliation took a bold stage in the struggle for justice by forming the Authorized Support Society of Worcester. The purpose of the new corporation was “to provide lawful guidance for all those monetarily not able to interact an attorney.”

Remarkably, the society was established additional than a ten years prior to the Wonderful Culture and War on Poverty systems of the 60s that were intended to minimize the rising divide involving the haves and have-nots in America. Certainly, the society’s generation was visionary in its recognition of the profound will need for obtain to justice for those people in our communities not able to afford an attorney.

The modern society was the brainchild of the Worcester County Bar Association, but also had early assistance from quite a few popular company leaders who served as board customers, such as Jacob Hiatt, Paris Fletcher, Eugene Ribakoff, Joseph Carter, Frank Harrington, Fairman Cowan and Paul Morgan.
