HOUSTON – Even though the selection of females accusing Houston Texans star quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual misconduct in the course of an array of therapeutic massage remedy periods ballooned to 22 in latest weeks, Watson and his group remained quiet.
On Monday afternoon, they broke their silence.
Watson’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, fired again at the accusers with a published assertion that once again denies any wrongdoing and even goes on the offensive by expressing that all 22 females who have appear forward are lying. Hardin went so much as to contact the lawsuits “a revenue grab” and poked holes in the accounts delivered by some of the accusers.
“Mr. Watson has been adamant that he did not engage in any inappropriate perform and we strongly consider him,” Hardin wrote. “Therefore, the reply to the question of no matter whether we are expressing that all 22 plaintiffs are lying about the allegations of sexual misconduct by Mr. Watson is a resounding of course.
“We and Mr. Watson just take allegations of sexual misconduct against gals pretty critically, as we all need to. We have waited to respond to the various allegations produced by Mr. [Tony] Buzbee and his customers right until we could responsibly look into. In the couple times considering the fact that his accusers’ names have been disclosed, as was required by Texas legislation, we are exploring an avalanche of untrue accusations.

“I hope every person will consider a honest and calculated glance at these accusations as we go ahead in these cases. We undoubtedly welcome any person with pertinent details to make contact with us. We do not be expecting to make any other comment currently. The next listening to in this case is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.”
In the statement, Hardin does not deny that Watson sought massage remedy from any of the 22 plaintiffs, but characterizes their interactions with Watson as consensual. He cites that 8 of the plaintiffs “bragged,” and have been “excited” about massaging Watson while 7 available to work with Watson yet again just after their sessions. Hardin further specifics that quite a few accusers lied about the quantity of periods they experienced with Watson and their resulting trauma, at minimum 5 informed some others that “they needed to get funds out of” Watson, and 5 have “scrubbed or entirely deleted their social media accounts.”
