Elon Musk stated on Twitter on Thursday that he is starting to be politically active to quit “the woke mind virus” from blocking humankind from achieving Mars.
Musk produced the remarks though responding to a Twitter user’s questions on an earlier tweet by the billionaire. On Wednesday, Musk posted on the platform claiming that “political attacks” on him would “escalate considerably in coming months.”
“Just curious…what is your drive to develop into politically lively? Why make by yourself a target?” the Twitter person questioned. “You are hoping to get mankind to Mars and alert the general public to the hazard of AI. Why sabotage these worthwhile plans by wading into political controversy? Is it really worth it?”
In response, Musk wrote: “Unless it is stopped, the woke intellect virus will destroy civilization and humanity will under no circumstances achieved Mars.”
Above the last month, Musk has pointed out the “woke brain virus” on a number of occasions. On Wednesday, he called Yale the “epicenter of the woke head virus attempting to destroy civilization.”
And in April, Musk utilized the phrase in a tweet, stating that it is “producing Netflix unwatchable.”
Whilst Musk hasn’t outlined what he thinks constitutes the “woke intellect virus,” the term “woke” has been co-opted and weaponized by right-wing figures to mock progressive leads to.
Musk also bashed the Democratic get together in a tweet on Wednesday, contacting it “the party of division and dislike.” In the exact tweet, he doubled down on his resolution to vote Republican this election — several days right after he 1st stated that stance through a tech meeting.
Musk’s opinions on Thursday came in the wake of a bombshell Insider posting detailing how his aerospace business, SpaceX, paid a flight attendant $250,000 to settle a sexual misconduct declare against the billionaire.
