My wife has a history of agreeing to rent or buy the first spot we pay a visit to any time we are looking for a location to live.  

This is excellent, she claims.  We will get it.

No, no, no, I react.  We can not consider the initial location we see. 

But we do.  I visit all the other areas on my own and then determine, ok, my spouse is likely ideal.  

If it is not the excellent residence objectively speaking, it is the perfect position for us.  

As my sister Mary Anne has place it, it is not as if issues transpire for a reason.  It is that matters happen and we discover a cause.

Around 40 several years in the past my wife and I sat in the living room of her team property in Georgetown.  

We experienced been seeing each and every other for about 4 months at the time.

My spouse mentioned she normally seen her daily life heading 1 way.  Now she understood that, obtaining fulfilled me, her existence was heading to be various. She realized already that she was heading to spend the rest of her existence with me.

This was news to me.  I was satisfied to listen to it.  

My wife claims that she has transformed anything in her life but her husband.

I am also grateful for this.

My wife and I have now lived in 15 destinations jointly.  We have owned 7 of them.  

The second to last home we purchased, I stood with the real estate agent on the entrance lawn of the very first property on our agenda and explained to her, even prior to we stepped into the household, that we had been heading to get that property.  

We did buy that household.

We lived there for a 12 months in advance of we bought our most current household.  And we acquired this previous dwelling – our for good home, the 1 we program to die in – without having my spouse ever obtaining stepped foot in it.

I monitored the house listings.  I contacted the real estate agent.  I visited the home with the real estate agent.  And I negotiated the offer.  

The initially time my spouse at any time observed the house was at the inspection the day right before we shut.  

This is great, she reported as we drove down the avenue with the residence coming into perspective.  Good selecting, she advised me.
