Mets retain the services of law firm to overview ‘workplace culture’ amid harassment allegations

The New York Mets have hired law business WilmerHale to conduct a critique of the team’s workplace tradition, The Athletic has acquired.

Team operator Steve Cohen created the announcement in an corporation-extensive electronic mail on March 19, saying that WilmerHale’s probe will “focus on sexual harassment, misconduct and discrimination concerns.” The e mail was obtained by The Athletic and corroborated by a second resource.
