Previous BigLaw functions manager pleads guilty to applying legislation organization credit history card for own purchases

A previous business office functions manager at Morrison & Foerster pleaded guilty to felony mail fraud Wednesday for using a law company credit card to make at least $425,000 in personalized buys and payments to his PayPal account.

Andrew Robertson pleaded responsible in Washington, D.C., federal courtroom and will be sentenced in August, the National Law Journal reviews.

Through the plea listening to, Kathryn Rakoczy, an assistant U.S. lawyer, explained to of one particular unauthorized purchase: Prada jeans costing $250. An October 2019 affidavit supporting the legal grievance and arrest warrant alleged that Robertson also applied the credit rating card to pay back for other designer outfits, jewelry, house furnishings, groceries, his Verizon monthly bill and storage models for his private products.
