LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer requested President Joe Biden on Wednesday to declare a significant disaster in Otsego County, wherever an EF-3 tornado struck Gaylord on Could 20.
The storm with 140 mph (225.31 kilometers for every hour) winds killed two people and injured 44 other individuals, officials have mentioned. It ruined households and organizations, causing thousands and thousands of dollars in house destruction.
