She was born in Middletown to the late Warren and Virginia Schlickenrieder. She graduated from Vincentian Institute in Albany and went on to get her bachelor’s degree from Union Faculty.

For lots of several years, Lynn labored as a lab technician. But in 2012, she followed her desire and pursued a next vocation as a licensed optician. Following her retirement, she ongoing to enable men and women by volunteering for the Lions Club and Lawful Help Modern society. Lynn was also quite intriguing in understanding Spanish and expended quite a few hrs making an attempt to grasp it as a 2nd language.

In addition to her mother and father, Lynn was predeceased by the appreciate of her everyday living, John “Sully” Sullivan, her brother Warren Schlickenrieder and her brother-in-law John Cox Sr. She is survived by her sisters Lauren (Frank) Cox-Fazio and Lee (Robert) Edwards her nephews Robert Edwards, John Cox Jr. and Kyle (Alyssa) Cox a grandnephew, Cameron Cox and a grandniece, Marley Cox. She is also survived by quite a few cousins.

There will be a “Celebration of Life” From 4 to 7 p.m. at Reilly & Son Funeral House, 9 Voorheesville Ave., Voorheesville, on Wednesday, June 9. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church, 25 Mountainview St., Voorheesville. The loved ones requests that memorial donations be manufactured in Lynn’s honor to the Durham Lions Club, 1850 Hillandale Road, Durham, NC 27705.
